Our Fried Pie dough is made from scratch on site. After years of tinkering we’ve stumbled on one amazing patent pending dough that contains no cholesterol in the dough, or the oil we fry them in. The dough is flaky, crispy and crumbly and is unbeatable along with our spectacular fillings.
As you will see, we are Philly Proud. Most of the pies have a local nickname attached.
All items on our menu are “single serve desserts”.

Fried pies originated in the south, during slavery. Slaves that worked in the main house kitchen, on the plantation would take the scraps from what was not used to make their owners pies. They would bring the leftover dough and whatever fruit fillings were available down to their cabin. They would roll the dough, place the filling, then seal and fry them in a cast iron skillet. This is how fried pies came into existence in the USA.
